This is a plain-language draft for our beta. It says exactly what we do, but it hasn't been reviewed by a lawyer yet — when it is, this note goes away.
These terms are the agreement between you and Yuga.Life, run by an individual operator based in India. Using Yuga.Life means you accept them. They are short on purpose.
What Yuga.Life is — and isn't
Yuga.Life is a practice space: realistic dilemmas you decide on, with reflective feedback drawn from wisdom traditions and modern science. It is a place to exercise judgment.
It is not advice. Nothing here is medical, psychological, legal, financial, or other professional counsel, and it is no substitute for any of those. If you are struggling, please reach a qualified professional or someone you trust.
Your account
You must be 13 or older. An account is optional — the practice works without one. If you create one, keep your password to yourself and use an email address you actually control; account recovery depends on it.
Ground rules
Use Yuga.Life as a person practising, not as a machine harvesting. Specifically, don't:
- Break the law or try to break the service.
- Probe, overload, scrape, or bulk-copy the platform or its content.
- Misrepresent who you are to us or interfere with anyone else's use.
Yours and ours
Your decisions and reflections are yours. Today they live on your device and we don't even see them.
The scenarios, feedback writing, design, and everything else that makes up Yuga.Life is ours (or licensed to us). Practise with it freely; don't republish or repackage it.
Beta honesty
Yuga.Life is in active development. Features will change, and the service may pause or break sometimes. Because your record is stored in your browser, clearing site data erases it — treat the beta accordingly.
No warranties, limited liability
Yuga.Life is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using (or not being able to use) the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Ending things
You can stop using Yuga.Life at any time, and can have your account deleted by writing to us. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
Changes
If these terms change in substance, we will update the date above and flag meaningful changes in the product before they take effect.
